ETERNAL LIFELINE
THE WITHERED WORLD
June 17th, 2020
Humanity has reached the end of its rope. A village nestled within a seemingly infinite forest is its very last hub. Not only that, any trace of modern technology that was once dominating the world has been washed away and completely forgotten. While the remaining humans are trying to survive and build a better life for themselves, there is an invisible problem that they are dealing with.
The Crimson Lords, beings of incredible magical power, are actively hunting down the rest of humanity, trying to render them extinct and nonexistent. What’s their purpose for doing so? Why are they so adamant on getting rid of the remainder of society? Whatever it is, they’ll stop at nothing to do so, even if it means the deaths of their own.
Sebastian, a boy who has been cutting down trees for the village for six years straight, has become bored of his job. Being as curious as he is about the outside world, he has contracted a notorious reputation for doing things that break the norms laid out through the generations the village has existed. One day, he decides to go down a path in the woods that he has never explored. Come to think of it, has it ever been there? Whatever it is, something is compelling him to go deeper and deeper into the forest. Sebastian must find it. Little does he know, that mysterious thing holds the key to the survival of humanity and the revival of the human race.
The Crimson Lords are incredibly powerful. They'll stop at nothing to end humanity...
Welcome to Eden Village!
Humanity's last hub of survival...
Having been founded in the year 2046, Eden Village served to be the last hub for humanity's survival. For many generations, those who have lived in this village, which is nestled in a seemingly infinite forest, have been happily surviving, content with their way of life.

Through time, many have forgotten what the world before the founding of Eden Village was like, but there is one burning desire that exists within many of the people there, and that is to avoid any form of innovation, unless it is heavily investigated and scrutinized. Perhaps that's something they've subconsciously kept throughout the generations to avoid the calamity that befell humanity before.

Divided into many different types of work, Eden Village has been efficient in its ability to thrive, and very rarely does something out of the ordinary happen.

One of the most famous families that exists in this village is the Lindloff family, where it is headed by Sebastian Hubrick Lindloff, or Sebastian H. Lindloff, the grandpa of Sebastian Lindloff and father of Peter Lindloff. With his influence in the town, he has both riled up things and allowed for greater order to occur.

However, things are about to change. His grandson, Sebastian Lindloff, is a bit more rambunctious than he was in his younger years. What does that mean for Eden Village? One can only figure out!
A village nestled in a seemingly infinite forest...
Sebastian's last normal day...
Wood. If Sebastian hated anything, it was wood. Every day for six years, he has been in the woods, cutting down trees for the village. With all that time to himself, his mind has wondered more than he would have liked, and his curiosity has gotten the best of him.
Sebastian, heading home, finds an opening to a path that he had never seen before. Had it always been there? It’s ominous, and any smart person would go the other way, but something is calling Sebastian, coaxing him to go farther into the woods.
His journey into the woods is long and draining, and, before long, he finds himself in the dark. With the fear of a dangerous presence lurking up on him, he decides to find the source of whatever is calling him into the woods. What lies ahead is beyond his own imagination.
What lies ahead is beyond his own imagination, and the journey to follow changes everything he has come to know...
The Crimson Lords
We aren't alone...
While humanity is surviving, in its best way, within the confines and safety of Eden Village, there is another group of beings that roams the Earth, but these beings want nothing to do with the rehabilitation of society.

Rather, their sole mission is to eradicate the remainder of humanity. With eight in number, this special and elite group encompasses each of the six magical elements, and each of them is incredibly skilled in their usage of their special magical trait.

While not much is initially known about them, they do have a deep and rich history with the Earth, having survived for centuries on the planet, searching for where Eden Village is. Little do they know, it's much harder to find a magical forest than they initially thought, even on the wasteland known as earth.
